From the Beltway (Route 495): Take the River Road Exit (39B, inbound) toward Washington, D.C. Drive approximately 5 miles south on River Road to Willard Avenue. Turn left on Willard Avenue and continue approximately 3 blocks. The south entrance of the Willoughby, 4515 Willard Avenue, is on the left. Return to top.

From Rockville and points north on I-270: Drive south on I-270 to the divide (the "spur") that links 270 with the Beltway (495). Take the right branch of the spur toward Virginia and merge onto 495. Continue westbound on the Beltway to the River Road exit. Take the River Road Exit (39B, inbound) toward Washington, D.C. Drive approximately 5 miles south on River Road to Willard Avenue. From Washington D.C. (Route 185--Connecticut Avenue): Take Connecticut Avenue northbound to Chevy Chase Circle. Drive around the circle and exit to the right onto Western Avenue. Continue on Western Avenue for about 1 mile to Wisconsin Avenue. Turn right on Wisconsin Avenue and drive one block to Willard Avenue. Turn left onto Willard Avenue and continue approximately 2 blocks to the Willoughby. The south entrance of the Willoughby, 4515 Willard Avenue, is on the right. Return to top.

From Route 355 (Wisconsin Avenue), if coming from Maryland, head south on Rockville Pike/Wisconsin Avenue. Turn right onto South Park Avenue. Continue on South Park until it ends at Friendship Boulevard. The Willoughby's north building at 5500 Friendship Boulevard will be facing you. To find the main entrance, turn left onto Friendship Boulevard and right at the corner of Friendship and Willard Avenue. The main entrance is immediately to your right.

From Washington D.C. (Georgetown area): Take Wisconsin Avenue northbound. Cross Western Avenue at the District line and take the first left onto Willard Avenue. Drive approximately 2 blocks on Willard Avenue. The south entrance of the Willoughby, 4515 Willard Avenue, is on the right. Return to top.

From Metro, take the Red Line to Friendship Heights station. Exit at Western Avenue escalator. Exit the station via the "Hechts" tunnel. On the street, turn left and walk to the corner of Wisconsin Avenue and Willard Avenue. Turn left onto Willard Avenue and proceed two blocks. The Willoughby will be on the righthand side.
